I don’t typically think of shades of blue when I think of fall weddings, but Maria and Mauro have changed my mind after their gorgeous fall wedding in Akron Ohio! The shades of blue truly popped off the changing leaves and created some of the most gorgeous photos ever!
Their day started with Maria and her bridesmaids getting ready at her family’s home. The energy from the moment I walked in the door was filled with excitement. There wasn’t a person present in the room who couldn’t wait to watch Maria and Mauro tie the knot! They enjoyed the morning sipping champagne and singing at the top of their lungs. The joy was contagious. We captured details, pajamas, and got Maria in her gown and then it was time to board the bus to the church!
Upon arriving to the church, Maria headed into hiding while I went to greet Mauro and his groomsmen for some getting ready photos. He couldn’t wait to show me his new watch, his wedding gift from Maria. It was truly sweet how proud he was of his gift!
Before long, the music began and it was time to get these two married! They held a traditional Catholic ceremony surrounded by so many friends and family members. They were sure to include their sweet pups in their processional, decorated with gorgeous floral collars! Their priest took the time to ask who had been married the longest, and the most recent and got advice from both couples for the bride and groom. I absolutely loved that! It was truly perfect. Once they had exchanged rings and sealed their marriage with a kiss, their guests cheered and clapped so loudly with excitement.
Following family portraits, we headed to Stan Hywett Hall in Akron where we gathered their bridal party (dogs included) and headed out to take their formal portraits. Maria and Mauro had the most lively bridal party. There was rarely a moment they weren’t all busting out in laughter. Its clear why they chose each of these people, who all made the best bridal party for them!
After we wrapped up bridal party and bride and groom photos, they boarded the bus and we headed to the Tangier for the party of a lifetime. We arrived in time to capture their reception details before the guests entered and the festivities began. Their bridal party entrances were like none I had ever seen before. They even rolled out a red carpet! It was clear this was going to be a night no one would ever forget, and it sure did not disappoint.
When the formalities concluded and the dance floor opened, it was overflowing with guests, having the time of their lives. The best part was when the guests all formed a circle around the dance floor and Maria and Mauro were lifted into the air in celebration! It was unbelievable!
Maria and Mauro shared a truly amazing wedding day. It was exactly what I would have hoped and dreamed for these two sweet people. I am so excited they are finally married and cannot wait to see what life continues to have in store for them! Honored does not even begin to cover how I feel about being such a special part of their once in a lifetime day!
